An ordinary deck is presented to a spectator and they are asked to pick a card from the deck. After placing the card back in the deck and shuffling, the magician removes the top card and asks if it is the card the spectator selected.
The spectator cries 'No that isn't my card!'
The deck is then fanned out and passed in front of the card - which instantly becomes the spectators selected card.
