Burn

You let the spectator choose a card and the show them a pencil and a piece of paper. The spectator writes their card on the piece of paper and then burns the paper. Then you show the pencil has nothing on the end. You then take the ash and rub it on the end of the pencil. The ash has transfered onto the end of the pencil!
