Even or Odd?

The performer shows the audience ten cards with numbers from one to ten on each card. He then gives it to a spectator to shuffle. When the shuffling is done, the magician deals five cards on the table. Then he asks to tell him what kind of number do they like, even or odd? Whatever they say, the sum of those five numbers the magician dealt will match the spectator's choice.
