No-Gaff Card Burn

The spectator selects a card which is then signed. The card is placed back in the deck at which point the spectator gets to shuffle and cut to his heart's content. The performer takes the cards back and waves a lit match under the deck. The spectator spreads through the deck to find his signed card, which is covered with burn marks. This trick is 100% impromptu if you have a deck of cards and a book of matches. No forces, no duplicates, no set-up.
