You give a spectator a deck of playing cards. You ask them to shuffle it, cut it, do whatever they like with it. You ask them to set it down on the table. You look into the spectator's eyes and concentrate. The name of a card has been transferred to you, the King of Spades. You ask the spectator to cut the deck, anywhere they like. The card that they cut to was the king of spades.
