This is a way to force a selected card on the spectator. Also, I added some of my favorite ways to reveal the forced card.
Catch a glimpse of the top card and memorize it.
Tell the spectator to pick any number between 1 and 15. Start dealing off that number of cards, showing them how.( *IMPORTANT* make sure you show them how to do it by instructing them or the force will not work) Then tell the spectator to do the same thing you just did. Let them deal off that number of cards and look at that number.
ex. Someone says they pick 10, the spectator would deal 9 cards and look at the 10th card, this would be the spec's card for the rest of the trick.
Since you already knew the top card, and showed them how to deal the cards off, you've reversed the cards making the top card the number they chose.
Revelations:
1. The old card flipping out of the deck revelation - Control the forced card to the top of the deck, talk to the spectator about some certain cards in the deck, being more off balanced than others. As you do this, push the top forced card over slightly; about half of the card should be hanging off the deck. Then quickly drop the deck. If done correctly, the top card will flip over due to air coming from under the deck, since the card was pushed over; it will flip on impact.
2. Slap - This has to be one of my favorite revelations, because some people just freak out when done correctly. Control the forced card to the bottom of the deck. Hold the cards at the end with your four fingers on top and thumb on bottom. Keep a medium grip on the deck, so it won't slip out of your hand. Instruct the spectator to slap the deck, if done correctly the bottom card will still be clenched in your hand, which is of course, their selected card. Alternatively let the spectator hold the cards and you slap them.
3. The suckers bet - This is my all time favorite revelation. After forcing the card, shuffle the deck. Start dealing cards onto the table, until you see the forced card (make sure to deal about 5 maybe 10 cards after their card. Then, ask the spectator if they want to make a bet. Say you will bet them 5 dollars that the next card you turn over will be their card. Looking through the cards, the spectator will realize you already dealt their card; so, of course, they will accept. Then, make a motion to deal a card from the deck, but then turn and flip the already dealt card FACE DOWN. This is more of a con than a magic trick, but you still win 5 bucks!
