The performer pulls out a notebook and pen. It is then asked of the audience that they name thirty random objects one by one as the performer lists them in the notebook. After the thirty or so objects have been called the performer hands the notebook to a member in the audience and instructs them to call out any number on the paper and the performer names that object. The spectator continues to call out more numbers until every object is crossed off and the performer has named them all.
