Don't Mess With Me

Effect

You let the spectator select and sign a card. The card is returned and lost into the deck. You snap your fingers and announce that the chosen signed card has jumped to the top of the deck. You flip the top card but it is not the selected card. Then because that card has ruined your performance you scribble lines on it with the pen on its face, so the face of that card is now full of random lines. You place it in your pocket so that it wont ruin your performance anymore.

Then you let the spectator pick and sign another card to start the routine all over again. The new signed card is now returned and lost in the deck after some random shuffling. You snap your fingers, but this time you get the right card on top of the deck. Now you let the spectator sandwich that signed card in between her palms. Then you point to your pocket with the previous card that you hate in it. You pull the card halfway from your pocket and return it inside.

You snap your fingers and pull the card from your pocket. The card has changed into the card that was sandwiched in the spectators hands. You let them look at the card sandwiched in their palm, it is now the card from your pocket.

Then you recall the first chosen card, and you conclude that maybe it doesn't want to be on top of the deck. You snap your fingers and show your hands empty. You reach into your pocket and there is a card. you flip it face up and it is the first signed card.
