The spectator picks a card that is held by the magician on the bottom of the deck. The spectator is asked to pick a secure place to put the card so it cannot be manipulated. The magician then places the selected card in the selected secure area than begins to place down cards face down in the shape of a man. The magician then flips over cards in a random order leaving the last untouched. He then asks the spectator to think of his card. The final card is then flipped to reveal their card. The card in the secure area is now a Joker.
