The magician struggles trying to put one card on top of the other as if trying to make a house of cards out of the two cards. Then by saying a magic word the magician puts the card on its side then puts another card on top of that. With some patter which could involve staring at it with intent and keeping a hand over it for effect as if you are making it stand by using magic.
Then the magician puts a full cup of any kind on top of the two cards! The magician then picks up the cup and starts to drink it! 'Who needs drink holders with a little magic!'
