The magician spreads out the cards and asks a spectator to pick one card, look at it, and place it on top of the deck. Then the magician lets the spectator cut the deck and then the magician looks through the deck and finds two black aces facing the wrong way. He places one on top of the deck and one on the bottom, facing up. Then, he shakes the deck and the deck goes into his other hand, with the exception of the two black aces, and in the middle of them a third card, the selected one!
